The Edge Is Coming

Saturday September 1st 2007 will see the opening night of The Edge, the new live art venue for Birmingham. Coinciding with the 1st Birmingham International Festival of Live and Time-Based Art, there will be a full weekend of performances, interventions and seminars.

Including:

  • Dr Roland Miller - Originator of the term 'performance art', Roland has worked internationally for many, many years and continues to make performances and interventions to this day. Essential.
  • Modified Toy Orchestra - Live music from circuit bending toy torturers . Genius.
  • Dr David Ethics - Performance lecture 'The Power of Cliche' - Life-changing.
  • Harry Palmer -
  • Mark Storor - Mark wants you to eat him out of a gigantic trifle - Scrumptious

Much, much more to be announced over the coming weeks, this will be a two-day performancefest, with live work on stage, intsallation-y time-based work, from the subtle to the in yer face and is not to be missed. Be there at the birth of a legend! More onfo about BIFLTBA can be found here.

Other Events
